Checkers is a cute cross-eyed boy! He came to us as a stray kitten and has spent most of his life here at the shelter. When he first arrived he was hissy and a teeny bit feral. Now, he is so good and always ready for some love! He loves head scratches, sitting in a high place to watch over his territory, and watching birds outside of the window. His all time favorite activities are sun bathing, playing with dangle toys and eating (he's a little chubby, but who doesn't love a chubby kitty?). Checkers is waiting to find his forever person; someone who is patient with him as he might take a little while to get used to his surroundings! He will be your best friend in no time and the best Netflix binge partner! He would love to go to a home with other cats or even one of his friends from the shelter!
