Charmaine - bonded with Francine

Hi, my name is Charmaine. I am 5 and a half years old and up till now my life has not been easy. I lived in a house that was not very good for me and my sister Francine until a nice lady came and rescued us. We went to live with a very nice family who treated us like a couple of queens. It did not take me long to trust these new people and I was rewarding them with my head butts which are very hard because I need to make sure the people know that I want attention and pets. After I get to know you a little better I would really like you to rub my belly. The nice people gave us some things to scratch on which I really, really like. I have also learned how to play and I love crinkle balls and springs but the wand toys kind of scare me a bit. I also like the catnip they gave us. They took a video of us playing with the catnip and you can see for yourself how cute we are. Now that I have learned how to play I run around like a kitten with a lot of energy. If I come to live at your house can I please have these things to scratch on and play with? I have a very good appetite and the people call me a chunky monkey. I also am very good at using the litter box. The only thing I don't like right now is being picked up but maybe with some time and patience I will learn to like it. We have never been around children and we are both still a little scared of sudden noises so we would like a quiet home with adults or maybe some older teens.
