Charlie the Persian

* COMING SOON * Charlie the loveable Persian is coming to PBJ from Qatar on August 13th, thanks to the kindness of a rescuer who found him on the streets there, underweight and badly matted. After months of TLC, he's ready to make the trip to the US, and we'd love to have a potential adopter or foster already lined up for him. His rescuer writes: "Charlie purrs all the time. Very grateful to be inside. He was skin and bones when I brought him in. Matted terribly. It's not uncommon for purebred cats -- Persians, Turkish Angoras, British Shorthairs -- to be abandoned on the streets (in Qatar) ... very sad." Lucky Charlie! Charlie LOVES people, but supposedly doesn't like other cats, and so we are seeking a home for him as an only cat. Although his fur is cut short now, it will grow back and will require daily brushing, and so we are seeking potential adopters who are experienced Persian caretakers.
