You can save animals like Charlie and Louie by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected]. I LOVE these cats! Meet Louie and Charlie, the 2 handsomest, sweetest cats you'll ever find. They are littermates who have been through thick and thin together and love people as much as they love each other. Can you give them the home they deserve?
These guys were saved in the nick of time by Homeward Trails when they were babies in a high kill shelter. They were adopted out to a great home where they have lived for nearly 3 years. Now their person finds herself moving across the country and can't take them along. They need to find a new person or family who will love them forever.
Charlie, has short grey fur and perhaps is a Russian Blue mix. He loves to cuddle and hang out with you while you are getting ready in the morning as he snoozes in the bathroom sink! His other favorite place to be is sitting at the window, dreaming of the birds outside. Charlie loves to cuddle, especially in the mornings in bed. He also loves to nibble at your fingers and rub his cute face against yours. He is an all around snuggler and is a wonderful brother to Louie, taking care of Louie by cleaning him and cuddling with him.
Louie has long brown striped fur and is stunning. He is just as soft as a bunny rabbit. The more cuddly of the two, Louie loves to snuggle in your lap or on your tummy while you lounge on the couch. Louie is the more pensive of the brothers, and enjoys watching his brother Charlie play with his toys from a distance. He LOVES bags and boxes and sneaks in and out of them like they are playhouses. Louie loves new people and is always very friendly to strangers and friends alike.
Charlie and Louie love to play, snuggle, and take care of each other. While they may not look alike, they are true brothers and it is apparent in their loving nature towards one another. They have never been apart anytime in their lives - they made it through the kill shelter together, lived every day together, and now need a home that will love them both - together. Can that lucky adopter be you?
