My Story

This cutie is Chalupa (which is a type of Mexican food.) Her mother came to us from a hoarding situation and was heavily pregnant when she was rescued. Her babies were born in foster care and grew up around a large number of other cats. The babies are now ready for adoption and are looking for homes with other kitties that they can become friends with. Chalupa looks almost identical to her sisters, Yucca & Tamale, so it can be difficult to tell them apart. Of the three kittens, Chalupa is a little bit shy so is often found hanging out in a quiet area. However, once she’s comfortable with a space, Chalupa is adorable, playful and sweet. This little lady will make a great addition to her new home. Chalupa will do best in a home with another young cat that wants to play with her. She would prefer a home without children. While she doesn’t have much experience with dogs, Chalupa’s mother hates dogs and seems to have passed this dislike onto her kittens. Therefore, a dog-free home will be ideal for her.
