Poor 11 year old Cedar came into our shelter when his longtime owner passed away. Cedar entered with 4 other cats, who have all had a hard time adjusting to a shelter environment after spending over a decade in a loving and caring home. Cedar has been sharing a cage with his brother Aspen, and takes a lot of comfort in him. While the boys may do better with humans if split up, they have already been through so much together and we would hate to separate them at the shelter. In a home, we believe they would be able to relax and decompress whether that be together or separate!
