Cecil

Disposition: lively and friendly

Cecil is full of play. He purrs and rolls around and rubs and does all kinds of kitty things to demonstrate his pleasure and joy at being cuddled and entertained. A spunky little guy, he enjoys company, toys, and lots of attention. He meows until he gets it. He has a soft gray double coat and deep green eyes, almost like the emerald eyes of a Russian Blue!

We found Cecil in a city shelter and decided to leave him there because he was so adoptable, but the shelter later called and asked us to take him because he had developed an upper respiratory infection – a certain death sentence in a shelter. So, we pulled him into foster care and cared for him during his bout with URI. He got well but had a relapse after he had been neutered. Such relapses are not uncommon after stressful situations, so we returned him to the kitty infirmary until he finally cleared up and was leaping up and down to get out of his crate. We moved him into a kitty community and he really enjoyed all the company and attention.

Cecil needs a home where he can be his playful little self. Please make room for this darling in your home and family.
