Introducing Carson!
Carson is cute as can be with his incredibly soft and beautiful gray fur. This young guy is still adjusting to shelter life, but he is making good progress and would love to find his forever home. He will let out a hiss at new people or loud noises, but can you blame him? With calm, soothing words and gentle pats, Carson calms right down and understands that we just want to give him love. He is a big fan of treats and that has been a great way to earn his trust! We definitely suggest that potential adopters come in and visit with him a couple times in order to get to know him and allow him to get to know you in return.
He would do best with a gentle, patient adopter who will help him trust fully. Potential adopters should anticipate dedicating additional time to helping a shy cat adjust. Lucky for you both, this includes lots of pets, rewards, treats, and playtime. Once safe and secure in a loving home environment, Carson's sweet personality will shine.
Carson is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He would do best in a home without young children.
