Carnelian is a 5-year-old cat with a heart as warm as her name suggests. This feline is the epitome of loyalty, always there to provide a comforting purr or a gentle nudge of affection! Her sweet nature is as endearing as her mellow temperament, making her the perfect companion for those seeking a calm and loving presence. Carnelian prefers a quiet household without children, where she can truly shine as the devoted friend she is! She does well with other calm cats and wouldn't mind some in her new home. Carnelian is FIV+, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is one of the most common cat viruses that can only spread between cats through deep bite wounds. With proper and routine care, cats with FIV+ generally live average lifespans. At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
