My Story

Carhartt is a very handsome tomcat who decided to ask for help when he needed it the most! He showed up at a kind woman's door begging for food and to be let inside. She obliged, and noticed a large abscess on his neck and some cloudiness in his left eye. She cared for him and took him to many vet appointments for about 3 weeks, and got his neck wound fully healed. Unfortunately, the bills were adding up and she was unable to continue to care for him, so she reached out for help. This is when Carhartt came into the care of Stray Cat Blues, where his vet care continued. He was neutered and got caught up on his vaccinations, and continues to be a sweet indoor boy. Carhartt is FIV+, likely from the injury he sustained while living outdoors. Don't worry though - he can still live a perfectly healthy and long life with routine vet care.
