My Story

Cara and Shamrock were born on Saint Patrick’s Day along with 6 more siblings which have all been adopted. Shamrock and Cara had been spoken for and then the adopter backed out the day of adoption without any reason for the change in plans. These two have become very close as a result of having been together their entire 13 weeks of life. We would recommend they be adopted together. Therefore, we are listing them as bonded. Adopting this pair will make their transition and the adopter’s adjustment easier and entertaining. At 12 weeks, they were fixed, had blood work checked for common feline health concerns, and received all needed vaccinations. There were no issues with their surgery, exam, or lab results. A little bit about their background… Mama Maggie’s luck had almost run out. She was a homeless very pregnant cat living in a wooded area but receiving some cat food from a concerned community member. A call to Last Litter Rescue changed everything – for the better. LLR began fostering Mama and in 2 week, 8 babies arrived. There were four boys and four girls in the litter. If you are interested in any of our cats or kittens- please click the PetFinder Inquiry link. That is the fastest way to begin communicating with us! Our rescue does give preference to adopters who indicate they would take a pair of kittens/cats. Last Litter Rescue (LLR) works to rescue, foster, fix, and find forever homes for kittens that were born to a homeless mother cat. We take in orphaned kittens if they are weaned and we have space. We also have an effort known as Purr-fect Love TNR and we work alongside other select TNR groups and a network of kitten fosters to reduce the homeless feline population. We value born and prenatal kittens. Animal welfare is one of five areas that our parent organization, Love Give Live, works in to relieve suffering and promote wholeness.
