DOB: 2017 After 2 years of waiting Capri is one of the cats that has been at our shelter for the longest! Poor Capri came to Colony Cats (and dogs) in 2017 as a kitten. She was adopted then returned a few years later when her owners no longer wanted her. She was very upset and scared and had a hard time transitioning back to being in the shelter. Since she has been back with us, she has taken up residence in our intake area with some of the other special needs cats. Her main special need is that she would prefer a home without dogs, children or other cats. We understand this means finding a home will be more challenging for her but after 2 years of waiting we're really hoping it could be Capris turn to find her forever family. She is well known to the volunteers as a sweet funny lady. A lover of pets and curling up in a sunbeam, she is very curious, and intelligent. She would make a great companion for a quiet home where she could stretch out and take it easy. As an 8 year old lady she's reaching her mid-life and the first half hasn't been easy on her. We'd love to see her enter into her golden years with a caring family that wants to give her a chance at her own happy ending.
