Candy

Hi, my name is Candy and I am looking for a loving home so I can do what I want when I want. I was brought here because my older human could not take care of me and my doggy friend and so I was picked to come to the shelter. In my old home I only liked my one person. I was raised as a kitten in this home and wanted my one and only person to care for me. I did not like anyone who came to visit and wanted nothing to do with other people. I am very picky here at the shelter too. I do not want anyone to pick me up. The cat lady has figured out that I will allow only three head rubs and then I grumble. My cage door is left open so I can come and go as I please. I like to walk around the office and sit up high on shelves. I like to look outside the glass door to the big world on the other side but not allowed to go outside. I do not want anyone in my space. I do not like dogs at all. I get so upset with them and will slap and hiss. I am over a year old and already set in my ways. Just leave me alone and let me do what I want. I will be the one to decide if I want to sit in your lap, I may even just stand in your lap. I am not a cuddle bug.
