This gorgeous girl is Camila or Cammi for short! Camila was surrendered to us after her owners were faced with health issues beyond their control. She was well loved and very spoiled, and we're hoping to find her a new home that will do the same! She is around 3.5-years-old and large cat, weighing around 11lbs. She is understandably very stressed at the shelter, but does her best to try to enjoy gentle pets on the head from staff. She will need a patient home that can give her ample time and space to adjust. Camila lived as an only pet in her previous home.
She is front paw declawed. When Camila first came to WCHS, she experienced some discomfort in her front paws. Our vet did x-rays and observed nail fragments in her front paws. She received a pain injection and has been doing wonderfully since. Any interested adopter would want to keep this in mind to share with their vet in case any complications arise in the future!
