Callie is shy 3 year old Calico and is working on trusting humans and other adult cats. She tolerates and gets along with kittens well. It took a long time for her foster Mom and the family to earn her trust and she has now learned to let her foster family pet her for a while when eats and is relaxing. She has come along way since being rescued from the outdoors while pregnant with her second litter. Callie would like a quiet home with a patient family, to allow time for her to trust, feel safe and secure in her “furever” home. In the right home, with a little bit of patience, Callie will make a magnificent companion. She is best suited to a mature, peaceful home, with no small children and dogs as quick movements and loud noises startle her. She is not a lap cat, however will
sit near by either curled up on the corner of the bed,
on a cat tree or in a little cubby. She loves cat nip, playing with the cat wand, chasing the red laser dot and receiving belly rubs when she finally trusts you to pet her.
