My Story

Butters On our first visit, the interviewer lady (IL) told me I looked like I was wearing a stylish Camel hair coat with black trim. I never thought of that, but it's true! I am a 5-year-old Tortoiseshell girl with a lovely personality. The IL also said that I was a World-Class purrer because I started my motor as soon as she touched me. I was so pleased she petted me; I never wanted her to stop. I was relaxed and happy for the duration of our visit. However, my previous life was quite alarming to me. I moved households twice in the last three months before being surrendered to HSHC. I lived with dogs, cats, and kids, all of whom caused me to be stressed! I spent most of my time hiding to avoid all the commotion. When I got to the shelter, it was discovered that I had very painful urinary crystals, and I have been treated for this condition. It turns out that being stressed can contribute to crystals forming. Therefore, I would greatly benefit from a calm, low-traffic home to help me relax and settle in. The HSHC staff can help you with any questions about introducing me to your home. I am excited to start my life fresh, perhaps with you! 7-10-24
