My Story

To meet Butters please contact: Ashley A 989 492 8712 [email protected] Butters is the oldest male. His birthday is June 1st 2019, he is 5 years old. He is neutered. He is a large orange tabby with short hair. We adopted him as a feral baby when we found him outside in a shed. He has had a shy personality for most of his life. We have worked very hard to socialize him and teach him that attention and petting are safe. He is quite the love bug with us now, but he still only likes to be held for short periods of time. He would prefer to come sit with you on the couch while getting petted. He is very playful and he LOVES ponytails. He will ask for attention by rubbing his face against your hands or arms, and he does not realize that sometimes he is grinding his teeth into you while he does it, but he does not mean any harm. It almost feels like he is smiling while he rubs against you. He is on the skinny and muscly side and he is the alpha cat in our house. He is still nervous when we have guests over and he will hide somewhere until they leave. I think he would do fine with other cats and small dogs, not sure about big dogs. He would probably adjust easier to a quieter home with a small family size. I think children might scare him and the noise would prolong his adjustment to a new home.
