ABOUT BUD Our sweet boy, Bud, is a 3 year old tabby. Bud came to HAP in October 2023 when his owners could no longer care for him. Understandably, he was reserved at first and confused to be at the shelter. He has opened up with our staff and volunteers, rubbing against your legs to kindly ask for pets. He loves to explore our playroom and is most interested in interactive kitty toys. He also enjoys sunbathing and taking long naps. While Bud can be affectionate, he is also an independent guy that appreciates his alone time. If you can respect his boundaries and love on his terms, he is sure to win you over! **He has been overlooked at the shelter, as he is not a fan of other cats or dogs, so he would need a home as your only fur baby. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
