Bubba FIV+

Bubba is a handsome stray picked up by animal control MANY months ago. He is a timid sweetie that loves his head pet and chin scracthes and he will roll on his side in contentment. An adult only cat experienced home would be best. for Bubba. Children may frighten him. He seems to be OK with other cats and a nice non cat chasing dog may be OK too. Bubba has since been neutered and vaccinated but did test positive for FIV. The good news is FIV is not a death sentence and most cats live a pretty normal lifespan without much consequence. Bubba is a healthy cat and will mostly likely remain so for years to come, since he is young. There is no special medical treatment required for FIV. Feeding a good quality cat food and keeping him indoors is all you need to do. FIV is a cat only virus. It is spread only by mating or deep penetrating bite wounds.
