"How you doin'? The name's Brooklyn and you oughta believe I'm named after that Brooklyn - you know, "I'm walkin' here!" that Brooklyn! I'm lookin' out for my perfect home, and I was just thinkin' maybe it oughta be yours! I came to be in this little rescue after they came to help me and my crew out - over 50 of us was living at a farm and it was gettin' mad crowded, you see, so they thought they would take us friendly pals and find us some nice lovin' homes! I ain't ever had a family of my very own and I'd kinda like to see what's good. I'm a mad nice gal - I ain't met a person yet I didn't care for - though I ain't yet met any real young kids and whatever these "dog" things are everyone talks about. I like my fellow felines, you can see me and my pal hanging out in some of my profile pictures. The whole comradery thing was a bit forced on me living with so many other cats, so I don't mind if they don't mind. I need a chance to get to know my friends before I put trust into them. I gotta evaluate the situation, make sure their good looking out before I buddy up. Some say I'm picky with friends, but they don't give me a reason to be picky and I won't be picky, know what I mean? I'm mad friendly and I don't mind one bit being by your side - in fact, that's kinda the goal here! Whatever you need help with you know I'll be there for ya. Watching some tv? I'm by your side, boss! Gettin' some work done? I ain't real great at the math, but I sure do know my spelling and grammar, all right. Looking to start some trouble? I got your back, pal! But if that ain't your cup of tea, I don't mind grabbin' a slice of pie and chatting about your day with ya. I do all them typical cat things people look for in a buddy - I like games and toys, and going on adventures. I like strings and naps and I ain't too picky when it comes to food if you know what I mean. I can be independent too, so you ain't gotta worry about me none if you wanna split for the weekend or take a nice camping trip or somethin'. Thinkin' about passin' me up for another cat on here - fuhgedaboutit, you won't find another one like me! Just give me one chance to make you proud - to be a part of your family. I won't disappoint, I don't know the meanin' of the word! Now you go ahead and give my folks a call so they can tell you all you need to know to get to takin' me home. I'll be right here waitin', boss." We are a small non-profit organization run on volunteers and donations. Due to this we ask that adoption fees are donation based, with a minimum of $50 to cover spay/neuter, Rabies & Distemper vaccines, dewormer, flea/tick/ear mite medication and any other medical treatment needed. Prior to attempting to visit us please complete an adoption application for approval. Our focus is on outdoor cats that do poorly outdoors so all cats must be adopted as indoor-only companions and are not to be declawed. If you are interested in a barn/garage cat to keep you company and help with pest control, we do have a barn cat program available as well. Thank you!
