Meet Boots. Boots has been at the shelter over 2 years. Despite starting off feisty, the patience of one of our employees transformed him into a sweet, affectionate boy. As our employee prepares to leave for veterinary school at Purdue University in July, she's heartbroken she can't take Boots with her due to compatibility issues with her own cat. We are desperately trying to find a home for Boots that understands he is a shy boy sometimes and who appreciates his boundaries. However, if it is on his own terms, he loves to give affection to those he trusts. Boots needs a patient home where he can thrive as the only cat, preferably with a female owner. After 2 months in foster care, Boots is ready for his forever home.
