BOND # 9927 Mâle, Jeune Adulte, Stérilisé, Vermifugé, Vacciné & Micropucé Voici son histoire : Le pauvre garçon rôdait sur les terrains à la recherche de nourriture...et une gentille dame a commencé à le nourrir pour rapidement se rendre compte que c’est un petit cœur sur 4 pattes qui est super affectueux et qui recherche la compagnie des humains. Ne pouvant pas le garder chez elle, notre bonne samaritaine l’a emmené au refuge le 1er mai afin qu’on puisse l’aider et lui offrir un meilleur avenir. A son arrivée au refuge, nous avons constaté que BOND était plutôt mal en point...Certes, il était déjà stérilisé (son oreille coupée en témoigne) mais comme il a été remis à l’extérieur et ayant un tempérament doux, BOND a dû faire la rencontre de chats agressifs et territoriaux ou d’autres animaux sauvages et ainsi, il avait des blessures à une patte, sur le corps et au visage. De surcroît, il avait une infection des voies respiratoires et les yeux infectés ? Par chance, il a testé négatif au FIV et au FeLV. L’équipe lui a prodigué les soins et maintenant BOND se remet graduellement ; nous croyons qu’il serait prêt à trouver sa famille à lui. BOND a environ 2 ans. Pour le moment, son pelage a été rasé partiellement mais une fois repoussé, BOND est un Tuxedo (noir & blanc) aux poils mi-longs et de belles moustaches blanches et ses yeux ambrés sont remplis de tendresse mais aussi de tristesse. Amical auprès des gens, on peut le prendre dans nos bras et on constate qu'on a affaire à un minet tranquille qui aime beaucoup les douces caresses et se faire gratter le menton. BOND adore faire de longues siestes dans un petit lit douillet; cependant, nous croyons qu’avec le temps, il deviendra plus actif et enjoué car en ce moment il demeure plutôt déprimé et il dort beaucoup, puisqu’il est toujours en mode récupération. Nous recherchons des adoptants calmes, chaleureux et accueillants qui prendront tout le temps nécessaire pour rassurer le tendre BOND et lui donner beaucoup d'amour. Nous recommandons un foyer avec des enfants de 10 ans plus respectueux des animaux car le brave minet demeure encore un peu nerveux et les bruits forts et mouvements brusques l'effraient; le stress nuirait à son épanouissement et à son bien-être. Quant à la cohabitation avec d'autres chats, BOND semble les tolérer mais il serait probablement plus heureux comme seul chat de la maisonnée. Sinon, il faudra prévoir des introductions graduelles pour s'assurer que tout se passe bien. Le valeureux BOND en a fini avec la misère...et mérite une 2e chance dans la vie :) Ayant manqué d'amour et de soins dans le passé, serez-vous la personne au grand coeur et capable de voir plus loin que le look du chat. qui lui donnera cette chance ? BOND #9927 Male, Young Adult, Sterilized, Dewormed, Vaccinated & Microchipped Here’s his story : The poor boy was scrounging around people’s yards, looking for food...and a nice lady started to feed him. Rapidly she noticed that he was a lovebug who was super affectionate and wanting to be close to humans. As she could not keep him, our good samaritain brought him to the shelter on May 1st so that we could help him and offer him a better future. Upon his arrival at the Shelter, we saw that BOND was in bad condition... Yes he was already sterilized (as per his clipped ear as proof) but since he has been returned outdoors and possessing a gentle nature, BOND must have met a few agressive or territorial cats or wild animals. Thus, he has injuries to his paw, on his body and on his face. Moreover, he had a respiratory infection and eye infections ? Luckily, he tested negative for FIV and FeLV. The team provided care and now BOND is healing gradually ; we believe he is ready to find his forever family. BOND is approximately 2 years old. At the moment, his fur was partially shaved off but once it will grow back, BOND is a Tuxedo (Black & White) with semi-long fur and nice white mustaches and tender amber eyes, filled with sadness. Friendly with people, you can hold him in your arms and you will discover a calm kitty who really loves gentle caresses and chin scratches. BOND adores taking long naps in a comfy little bed. We believe however that with time, this little chap will become more active and playful as for now, he remains quite depressed and sleeps a lot as he is still recuperating. We are looking for calm, welcoming, caring and patient adopters who will give BOND all the time needed reassuring and lavishing this little wonder with lots of love. We recommend a home with older children (10 years +) who are respectful of animals, as the he remains a bit skittish and loud noises and abrupt movements scare him; too much stress would be detrimental to his happiness & wellbeing. As for living with other cats, BOND seems to tolerate them but would probably be happier being the only cat in the household. If not, please plan for gradual introductions to ensure that the cohabitation is successful. Brave BOND is done with suffering...and deserves a second chance at life :) This worthy boy unfortunately didn't get much love and care in the past - Will you be the big-hearted person able to see beyond his looks, to change that ?
