My Story

June 23, 2010 - Today Bobbi found her new forever home. She stole the heart of her foster mum who couldn't bare to part with her, so she was officially made a member of her feline family. We know that Bobbi will be well cared for and is good company. with the other resident cats who she already knows.

Bobbi is an adorable little girl who we believe was about 2 years old in mid December/09 when she was rescued from the side of a country road along with her five kittens.. It was very cold and this young mother and her little tykes had no shelter except for a pile of fiberglass insulation.
CRN was called and it didn't take long for the kittens to acclimatize themselves to the warm nurturing environment of their foster home. However Bobbi, named for the little white socks on each paw, appeared very cautious. When it was determined that this poor little thing was pregnant again so soon after having her last litter, it was little wonder. After many weeks and no kittens, it was finaly determined that she had gone through a false pregnancy which was very stressful for her.

Once she was spayed, Bobbi's demeanor change dramatically and she is now a bright, lively little girl who loves to be petted and cuddled and loves to play with her toys. Bobbi gets on well with other cats but is still a little shy with strangers.

Little Bobbi is a beautiful little cat with a sleek black coat, white socks and white whiskers. She was an awsome mother to her kittens who have all been adopted. She is truly a little treasure.

Bobbi's foster mother writes:

"Bobbie is a wonderful black and white little girl who was sad and defeated when she came to me. After a few months she has evolved into an adventurous 2 year old who loves to play and chirp all night long. She has issues with being picked up and getting her nails cut and still can be shy at times. She has taken to come running to me when it’s time to eat and sticking her head up for kisses. She likes to get petted before she eats and will sometimes ignore her food just for attention. She is apt to give little love bites when she gets excited but will stop when you tell her NO firmly. She is very good & laid back with my other cats. Bobbie still needs someone who is willing to give her time to become the spectacular cat I know she can be. Are you up for it?"

Bobbi would like to find a loving forever home that will be understanding of her shyness and work with her to overcome it. She will make a wondedrful addition to any household.
