Bijou was found outside in a trailerpark that had many strays. She was under a car and so small it was hard to believe she survived alone. She was brought to the shelter and immediately placed in a foster home where they tried to give her milk replacer. Bijou really didn't want to nurse it seemed, but preferred actual food, even at her small size.
Since that time, she hasn't grown much but her vitality has definitely increased. She now lives back at the shelter with the other kittens, is first to the food bowl and despite her size, seems very brave and self sufficient. She's going to probably stay pretty small but is very sweet and adorable.
