When you meet me the term "gentle giant" might come to mind because in spite of my ample girth and imposing appearance, I am actually quite sweet, sensitive and mellow; that's right, I'm just a big 'ol teddy bear kind of guy.

One of the other reasons I'm special is because I'm deaf! Please don't let that concern you. My hearing loss was just a common hereditary thing: the same gene that gave me my stunning white coat is also the gene that caused my deafness! Not all white cats are deaf, but the fact is that most deaf cats are white. It's really no big deal.

Update on Big Mike: Big Mike had the good fortune to be adopted, but was returned recently because he wasn't getting along with the family dog, and the dog had seniority...darn! Do you have room in your home to give Big Mike a second chance? He hopes so!
