My Story

Beth has come a LONG WAY during her time with Pet Welfare. She was originally a community cat who brought her kittens to the doorstep of a neighborhood home to “ask” for help. The original plan was to spay and release her but this turned out not to be possible. Since April, Beth has been learning how to live with humans and other cats, first in foster care, where she was not at all happy, next a room of her own at Pet Welfare, then a large cage in our main room. And now in the room itself! After a lifetime of fearing humans and living as a stray, this is an incredible accomplishment in such a short period. Beth is sweet and curious; she will walk up to you to say hello! She is playful, rolling around on the floor for attention and has gentle paws. This lady is so loving now that she's gotten past her fears! Beth gets along well with most other kitties, but we don't think she'd do well wit6h dogs. She has been spayed (notice her tipped ear), tested, vaccinated and examined by a vet.
