Benjamin is a handsome boy. He loves food and other cats. Climbing high is his cherished activity and a tall tree is a must.
Benjamin is bashful. The way we adopt cats is absolutely against cat nature. Normally the cat would watch you and decide if you're a good fit. And then slowly move in and adopt you LOL!
With us just placing a cat in an unknown situation quite a few cats get super anxious and decide to hide and observe the new place and family from relative safety.
To help the cat accept you and develop a loving bond, you would need to put in some effort, loving care, and patience. We think that Benjamin will adjust in 3 to 6 weeks. You would need to keep it in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking, or even singing to it.
