She enjoys snuggling up on the couch next to you for gentle pets and brushing, and perhaps catching the evening mews together. Belle bonds to her people very closely and wants nothing more than to be loved. At 8 years old, Belle is looking for a quieter home where she can live out her golden years relaxing with endless amounts of love and catnip toys. That's right, she still has some kitten in her and enjoys her 'nip along with yummy treats. She has lived with other cats previously. She would love a calm environment where she could have her own space but have someone nearby for lots of pets and snuggles! About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
