My Story

Note: This is a courtesy post on behalf of another adoption entity. If you are interested in Babu, we will put you in contact with the group. Thank you! Neutered male About 3 years old Combo negative Vaccinated 2/29/24 Microchipped No health certificate Meet Babu, the charming black and white feline with a personality as striking as his adorable freckles sprinkled across his face and nose. Picture this: Babu lounging in a sunbeam, his glossy coat catching the light, eyes half-closed in contentment. He’s a true testament to resilience and love, having been found abandoned on the streets and nursed back to health by his rescuers. Initially scared and wary, Babu quickly warmed up, learning to trust and love people again. Now, he’s the epitome of affection, always ready to purr his way into your heart and home. Babu is not just a looker; he’s also a bundle of playful energy! He loves other cats and enjoys their company, often seen chasing toys or engaging in friendly tussles. His playful antics are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours, and his easy-going nature makes him a joy to have around. Occasionally, in his enthusiasm, he might give a little love bite, a quirk that adds to his endearing charm. While we’re not sure how he feels about dogs or children yet, his friendly disposition suggests he might get along just fine. Adopting Babu means gaining a loyal companion who will bring endless laughter and love into your life. Trust me, you’ll be incredibly lucky to call this delightful cat your own! -------- If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response. Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. To learn more, go to: http://thecatconnection.org/get-involved/foster/ Adoption Fee (effective 3/15/24) < 12 mos. $375 1-4 yrs $300 5-9 yrs. $250 10+ yrs. $125 These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two! The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
