Dogs: good w/intro Children: good with intro Six precious babies had been taken to a shelter that didn't have the resources to care for them and they were slated for euthanasia; we were able to pull them at the last minute! On arrival in foster care the kittens were very confused and uncertain and they needed some time to adjust to their much improved circumstances. One by one they gave their trust and their sweet snuggly personalities emerged. Now they are happy playful fun-loving kittens who love their toys and the people caring for them! Several have found their homes; Axel and Slate hope to be next! Axel and Slate held back for a while and then turned into brave explorers! They like to follow the resident cat around trying to play with him and have even started to "scout" out the resident dogs. Both love wand toys and a good cat pile at nap time. Axel is the only one who has found his voice to date, and if you hear a meow in this pair, it's always him! They each need a welcoming kitty friend and would love to stay together! With a slow introduction to other cats and dogs they do well. The same applies for children: it took time for them to adjust to the 3-year-old grandson, but now they chase the wand toys he holds.
