Ava

Ava is one of the world's great thinkers. When this lovely lady is not showing off her athletic prowess by by sprinting around the house doing acrobatics, she loves nothing more than to contemplate life while looking out an open window or glass door. As she imagines herself tending to the world outside, she eagerly welcomes pets on top of her beautiful head and scratches under her soft wise chin. She is currently on the hunt for her furever home and a human companion on whom to bestow her love and wisdon. Her favorite place to be is on her cat tree but we know what she's really looking for is a warm and patient companion to curl up next to. Ava has perfect scratching manners and always seeks out her tree when in need of nail care. She loves playing with a lazer pointer and being brushed. She's not a huge fan of dry food but she LOVES to eat so if that's all that's offered, she will eventually partake. She's also not a real fan of water in the form of baths. Like a lot of intellectuals, Ava can be a bit quiet when you first meet her. She has to size you up, of course. But once you pass her test, she is extremely friendly, affectionate, and adaptable. You'll know your application for her love has been approved when she bestows endless leg rubs upon you. Ava has been around children, other animals and small and large dogs. She does well with children, other cats (???? is that true?????), and small to medium sized dogs but showed fear around larger dogs. With time, and a cool headed large dog, she may be fine with them as well. She loved her dog-brother Louie who was medium sized. She will rub against your legs to no end to show her affection. Ava is very independent and likes to be in her own space/world. She isn't much of a lap cat but she is still affectionate in other ways. She may be shy and hide at first but once she feels safe she will never leave you alone. Ava has been around other animals; small and large dogs. Large dogs scare her. However, she loved her dog-brother Louie who was medium sized.
