Autumn

Autumn is a Warrior and Survivor! He will be 1 yr old around July 5th, 2024, but he's gone through a lot in his short life. Autumn was first listed with his littermates during the summer of 2023. As he waited for an adopter, and his siblings went to their forever homes, Autumn's foster mom realized that something wasn't right with this playful and energetic boy. After rounds of tests and vet visits, Autumn was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Until recently, this mutation to a common feline virus was considered a death sentence, but Autumn's foster mom and BCC sought out a new, but expensive treatment, that saved his life! Autumn and his foster mom endured 84 days of injections, followed by a months' long observation period during which he has monitored and tested by his veterinarians. Late this spring, Autumn was given a clean bill of health and is (finally) ready to go to his forever home! Listing Autumn here on Petfinder is Bittersweet for his foster mom, but she knows that BCC will find a purrfect home for Autumn, with someone who will love him as much as she does. Autumn is a sweet and affectionate young kitty who loves to be with other cats! He is playful as well as sweet and has lots of energy. Autumn has been in a home where he spends lots of time with older kids and is gentle as well as silly.
