Aunt Lydia

Aunt Lydia is easily one of our easiest kitty residents in her advanced age of 16+. She has a wonderful disposition for a chill home. She currently lives with several other cats and respectful dogs, and peacefully coexists with everyone. Despite this, it seems Lydia is content with being an introvert; socializing in short bursts as she watches the younger kitties play. She's the perfect roommate! Aunt Lydia prefers the simple things in life; a cozy bed, chin and head scratches, some sunshine to sleep in, and a full food dish. She wont mind keeping your spot in bed warm while you are at work for the day. Aunt Lydia enjoys occasionally chasing the red dot of a laser pointer and batting at a feather wand, but most other toys are uninteresting. Dear Aunt Lydia does have a few notable health concerns as any elderly pet does. Don't stop reading here! They've been easily managed by her foster mama. Our sweet little friend suffers from arthritis in her hips, which she receives monthly Solensia injections for. Solensia has been an AMAZING addition to her routine care, and has given her back her zest for life and keeps her feeling comfy without the need for daily pain meds. Lydia is also on twice daily medication to control seizures. She's a pro at taking her meds, and has been seizure free and has remained seizure free since onboarding medication. (This will be a lifelong medication) We would love to see this gentle lady find her forever retirement home for her remaining years.
