Augustus

He’s not orange and we don’t serve lasagna at meal times, but Augustus is the closest kitty to Garfield that we’ve ever met. This hunk of a boy is as laid back as his picture looks and takes cat naps to a whole new level. We know that Mr. Augustus moves around sometimes as we clean his box and refill his dishes, but we are fairly confident he spends 23 hours out of his day lounging away. Gus is shy is new situations and takes awhile to feel confident, but once he does, he becomes the snuggliest boy around. Augustus really doesn’t care if his home has toys and will give brownie points to people that don’t make him run around. Instead, he longs to be someone’s true movie buddy where he can cuddle his day away. Augustus longs for a home where his people are quiet, home a lot and undemanding. He wants to adjust at his own pace, be rewarded with treats and furnished the cushiest bed that his people can find. He can get overwhelmed with too much going on and become scared, so a home without active dogs or young kiddos is preferred. Gus will likely take awhile to feel confident in his new home, but we may or may not know that Squeeze treats are the way to his heart.
