My Story

Auggie is ready to find his forever home! He is a very sweet 2 1/2 month old kitten (birthday is 3/16/24) that was born in our rescue, along with his brother Jimmie, 2 weeks after his pregnant mama arrived. He is a beautiful orange and white tabby cat with unique stripes and swirls in a deeper orange color. Auggie is a special needs kitten with CH, or cerebellar hypoplasia. CH is a neurological disorder that affects a cat's cerebellum, which controls balance, coordination, and fine motor movement. It's also known as wobbly cat syndrome. CH does not get worse, and cats with CH live a full life expectancy. Auggie is the sweetest kitty and loves to play with balls, toy wands and kick sticks. He enjoys being held and cuddled and loves wrestling with his brother Jimmie. He has no problem being picked up, and he is fully litter boxed trained. He loves other cats and dogs and is a perfect kitten! Auggie is looking for an adopter that is retired or works from home and has time to give him the extra help he needs. He will pay you back 10 fold as this little guy has so much love to give. A home with some carpeted areas and no stairs (or blocked off stairs) is ideal to keep him safe. Are you ready to make Auggie part of your family? Apply to adopt here: sayvanimals.org/adopt (PLEASE NOTE: Despite what PetFinder, AdoptAPet and other aggregation software systems state - the first step is to submit an application via the link above, NOT send a message through their platforms. Thank you! <3
