My Story

Meet Asha, the perfect mix of beauty and boldness! She is approximately 1 year old. Asha is a beautiful young, short-haired, gray cat, who loves food and treats and will work her vocals to let you know when she’s ready for her meal. She enjoys playtime, especially tunnels and hiding toys in her favorite spot. She also enjoys bird entertainment through the window and long afternoon naps. Asha knows how to work the camera and is not shy about stealing the spotlight from her housemates. Her favorites are teaser toys and stuffies that she can rabbit-kick all she wants! Asha was rescued from a feral colony but now is ready for her forever family. Love and patience will go a long way with her in revealing her true potential. She went from being scared and hiding to showing how sweet and loving she really is and very vocal! Now she’s the first one to come to the kitchen demanding to be fed. Asha could benefit from having a playmate - she can be adopted with her fellow foster, Figgy - but can be an only cat as well. Asha is being fostered with other cats and a dog and she has done great with everyone, although she enjoys being the center of attention! What Asha is looking for in a home: - She is new to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her continue adjusting. - Loud noises and fast movements make her nervous but if she has time to adjust she shows confidence and has done great with strangers. - She has lots of energy and will benefit from plenty of active playtime. - She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment. - She needs to live indoors only. - She has a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to her age. - She has a positive history with dogs. - She has no known history with children. All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Thank you for your interest in adopting Asha! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt Asha by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
