My Story

"Ari" is an older blue point siamese boy, maybe ten years, with a wonderful silky coat, good teeth and bright blue eyes that look right into yours. He was found abandoned and has been in foster care since mid Sept. 2008. He was failing and malnourished when we took him in, but he has regained his lust for life and is anxious to join his own home. He is very intimidated by any other cat and so would be most happy if he were the only cat in your home. He talks to you if he gets lonely or can't find you, but otherwise he is quiet and very easy to care for. He is a nuzzler, loves to rub his cheek on your face and get as close as he can. He is still a little frightened at being picked up and will cling to your shoulder a bit, purring all the while. He also comes when you call his name! *Ari is a special needs kitty, because he will need to have his medication once a day for the rest of his life. He takes a 1/4 tsp. of food by mouth with meds crushed in it. He is taking prednisone and antibiotic which Animal Save has promised to provide for the rest of his life. Also, the foster mom will always be near if you need help or support for him. If you think you might fall in love with this wonderful, very special boy, please call Judy at 530-273-7640. He will be adopted through Animal Save, but Judy will stay in close touch if that would help make this work.
