Meaning lion in Hebrew, Areyeh is the sweetest little lion cub who’s loyal to his family, or pack, and patiently waiting for his forever family! Given his loving, gentle, and playful nature, we think Areyeh would make the perfect companion for an energetic family, a young couple, or a home with other cats. Although he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet a dog yet, once he’s comfortable in a space, he’s confident, so it’s likely he’d do well joining a home with other pets. Areyeh’s activity level is well-balanced and predictable, where he enjoys getting his laps in down the hallway, exploring windowsills, scratching at posts, and playing with his most favorite cotton toy. He also enjoys playing with people and will cautiously bat at string or ribbon you wave. When he’s tired out from playtime, Areyeh certainly likes to spend his downtime next to you. In fact, his foster family says he loves to keep a paw on your leg as he sleeps, keeping closeness and establishing affection.
