My Story

Hi! I am NOT shy. AT ALL. After a grueling 12 hour transport from Utah to the Bay Area I stepped out of my carrier at my foster home and started loving ALL OVER my foster mom. When the other kitties knocked over the TV and it made a loud noise, I kept purring and loving. I slept with my foster mom the first night and I had JUST met her!

I think I would do well in any kind of family situation. I am independent enough to be an only kitty, but I am fine with other cats (I lived with over 800 of them last year!). I have not been dog tested, but the assumption is that I am confident enough that I would do just fine. Kids are fine too.

My foster mom seems to think my front legs are slightly shorter than most kitties. This means I might be a Munckin mix. Maybe not, but there were several munchkins and mixes at the place I originally came from, so I could have some of that fancy 'purebred blood' in me =)

Please consider me. I am SO ready for my own home!

Archer came to Wonder Cat Rescue from a sanctuary in Utah. Last year, he was rescued from a situation where supposed 'rescuers' had over 800 cats living in horrible conditions in the desert. Archer came out of it unscathed although some of the cats were not so lucky. Archer is around 3 years old. He has been neutered, microchipped, treated for parasites, given all vaccinations (FVRCCP, FeLv, and Rabies) and he has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

Archer is fostered in Walnut Creek.

Wonder Cat Rescue is not a shelter, but a team of caring foster homes and volunteers who open our own homes to needy cats until permanent placement can be found. By adopting a cat from Wonder Cat Rescue, you're making a commitment to provide love, care, and medical treatment for the life of the cat, which can be up to 20 years or more. Adopting a cat is a serious decision, but a very rewarding one!

We make every effort to make the best possible match when placing our cats/kittens with new families. Each adoptive homes is screened carefully, and a lot of support is given to make sure the adoption is a success. Sorry we do not ship under any circumstances. The required adoption donation begins at $100 (Siamese, Persians, Maine Coons etc. are $125). This includes the following veterinary services unless otherwise stated in the bio: free vet exam, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV testing, FVRCP vaccination, de-flea, de-worm and microchip.
