My Story

Well Aloha! My name is Aoife which is pronounced "Ee-fa" which means "beautiful." Maybe you did not know but I am obviously quite beautiful but also very rare as an orange female kitten. Most orange kittens are males. Well, more about me, I am just the sweetest little girl that loves to snuggle and cuddle. My foster mother describes me as very playful, affectionate, cuddly and curious. I love humans petting me, kisses and nap time. I also love to play with my brother Ronan. If you wondering our names are Irish in origin. My brother's name is Ronan which means “Little Seal,” which he obviously looks like a handsome little baby seal with long whiskers. We were found together and dropped of an emergency vet clinic, and they reached out to the rescue. Well, it turns out we were quite sick, infected with the feline parvovirus, more commonly known as Panleukopenia or Feline Distemper. It is a very serious and almost always fatal disease, but we managed to make it with the absolute love and care of our foster mother. When we were healthy enough, we were vaccinated and fixed and are now ready for a family that will take care of me and will love me for the rest of my life! Are you looking for a sweet, outgoing and affectionate beautiful and rare female orange tabby to add to your family? My brother and I are currently located in Hawaii and will travel to Oregon once we have completed another set of vaccinations. We will be available for adoption towards the middle of August. About our Cats & Kittens: All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, and have received at least 2 x FVRCP vaccinations, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and will have received the FeLV and Rabies (if over 4 months) vaccinations. Aoife is litter box trained and will do great in a home with older children (5 +), kitties and maybe a friendly doggos. If interested, please inquire about adopting Aoife and perhaps her brother Ronan. Sometimes Petfinder emails go to spam or junk mail so if you have reached out and are waiting on a response, please check your other folders. Or give us a call or text! Thank you! ~ AKTNR
