My Story

Anubis is, hands down, one of if not the most handsome cats I've ever met. With his absolutely striking orange eyes, unique facial structure, and lithe body, he really is the epitome of a "house panther". He and his 2 siblings were found as kittens in the backyard of an abandoned house at roughly 6 weeks old; they were in very poor condition and very much at risk of starving when I stumbled upon them completely by chance when I heard a rustling sound coming from a pile of trash. Judging by the condition of the kittens I pulled out of the trash pile that day, no one could have ever guessed Anubis would grow up to be such a handsome young man. Anubis is a very shy boy at first but has the absolute sweetest personality. He doesn't meow, instead he chirps for attention whenever he wants it (which is often) and loves to play. It's because of his shyness that he has been passed over for adoption by several interested parties but I know the perfect home is out there for him. If you're looking for a dignified young gentleman who loves quiet nights in watching movies or reading books and snuggling up on the couch, Anubis just might be the perfect cat for you! In a perfect world, I would love for Anubis to be adopted out with his sister, Bast, but it's not strictly required. Bast is a very sweet girl with a very similar personality (shy at first but a sweetheart once she warms up) and I would love for them to stay together and not lose the familiarity of having one another around.
