Amun

Amun arrived from our shelter in Cairo, Egypt in late May 2023. He is by far one of the most sweetest and affectionate cats that we have ever met. He is aged to be between around 5-6 years old. (est. birth year 2018) He loves people, dogs, and other cats. He has the most amazing personality and will keep you very entertained. Amun recently had a very expensive dental treatment (February 2024) while in our care and had several teeth extracted. You would have never guessed that he had any issues because he is always so eager to please and shower everyone he meets with affection and head butts. He is fully recovered and even more lovable! Our Policies: Please Read Carefully! We are currently not adopting out-of-state! Please note that we do require screening and verifiable references before a meet and greet and at-home visit is ever approved. Approved applicants must travel to our location in Chicago before we proceed with our in-home visit/ adoption. Due to our in-home visit requirements, we are only adopting within a set 20-mile radius near our location in the city of Chicago, IL. We will ONLY consider applicants who have filled out our emailed application in full and abide by our rescue protocol. We will not arrange any meet and greets unless all references have been checked and applicants have been approved. We are not accepting or offering ANY phone inquiries. We do require cats under 1 year of age to be adopted in pairs unless there is already a cat in the home.
