Alvin (Photos 7/21/2024)

Alvin is a cute male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 2, 2024 along with his mother (Claire) and his two brothers (Simon and Theodore) after they were found in the Fleming Ohio area. Alvin, Simon and Theodore were tiny one-week old babies at that time. Alvin has a beautifully-marked brown short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Alvin's mother (Claire) was a wonderful mother to her babies and raised three happy, playful boys in a small shelter cage. Claire and her kittens were separated in late July 2024 after the kittens were weaned, and they are now in adjacent towers in the lobby of our shelter. Momma Claire still keeps a watchful eyes on her boys while they spend their days playing frivolous kitten games (smile). Alvin was given Pyrantel wormer on May 8, 2024, and he was given vaccinations on June 6, 2024. This little playboy dearly loves his brothers, and they are like 'The Three Musketeers' ..one for all and all for one. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with one of his brothers (and with both of them as a trio). Alvin will be neutered before being adopted by his family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).
