Albert was brought to the shelter with his brother Joey 2/9/24. Sadly, they were left behind in their home when their previous owner moved. The person who bought the house had been caring for them but did not want to keep them. Their estimated birthday is 2/19/20, so they're ~4 years old.
Despite their story, in typical orange cat fashion, they're still happy, friendly cats who love people and affection. They're a calm, chill pair who will occasionally play with their roomies, but mostly stick to themselves.
After everything they've been through, we would love to see Albert and Joey adopted together, but the pair is not bonded and would be happy to go home on their own too.
