My Story

Akina is such a little darling. She is small and young and oh so pretty. With her lovely silky cream colored hair and the chocolate and gold markings on her adorable little face, she has the features and markings of a Himalayan with maybe some Angora mix. She has a magnificent plume tail in the same chocolate and golden tones. With her dazzling blue blue eyes and her gorgeous coat, she is quite a beautiful young girl.

Akina is affectionate and loving but not at all demanding. She will cuddle and purr, but she doesn't expect anyone to stop their life and carry her around like a baby. She would be happy to curl up nest to her person in bed or on the sofa for a little nap.

She gets along with other cats who are not aggressive. She has a male cat friend in her foster home and she loves to play with him and snuggle up with him. And she tolerates dogs well enough to live in peace with them. She would be a very nice friend for well behaved children.

Akina is one of the cats that was left homeless in Houston after their owner died. She loves having a happy home to live in and someone to love her. But she will also need a safe place to go outside where she can enjoy the wonders of nature that she grew up with.

This is one lovely little girl who is ready to find a forever home.

All of the adult cats fostered with Clear Creek Cat Rescue have been neutered or spayed, are current on all of their vaccines including rabies, and most are also microchipped.

CCCR provides a 10-day trial placement period during which time the adopted cat can be returned, for any reason, for a full refund.

We guarantee that when a cat rescued from the pound is adopted from CCCR, we will rescue another cat that is in jeopardy for its life. So when you adopt a cat from us, you are not only giving life to the cat you take home, but saving the life of another cat as well.
