My Story

Meet the hardware kittens: Ace and McLendon! They are approximately 3 months old, and a bonded sibling pair. They will quickly work their way into your heart! Ace is a black shorthair with faint tabby markings. She is often found ‘off the clock’, cuddling and chirping for pets. When she’s hard at work, she’s constructing boxes to make better beds and jumping around to inspect the structural integrity of her surroundings. Her favorite tool is balled-up paper. McLendon is a black shorthair with tabby markings. He consistently works overtime, going back and forth from asking for pets and rubs to running around the room with his crinkle ball inspecting the various scaffolding set up by the human contractors. He loves all of the ‘tools’ (toys) in his toolbox. Together, they will get the job done! (Of finding their way into your hearts and home) What Ace and McLendon are looking for in a home: - They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair. - They can get nervous, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences. They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust. - They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active playtime. - They need to live indoors only. - They get along with other cats. - They have no known history with dogs but would probably be okay with a gentle introduction - They do well with children. All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Thank you for your interest in Ace and McLendon! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://bit.ly/ACPAdoptionForm Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we appreciate your understanding.
