Frodo and Guava

Frodo is a blue crown conure, age unknown. Guava is a nanday conure, approximately 16 years old. Both are female. Although they originated from different places, but both were left at a vet's office and a staffer took them until a home could be found. Guava's left wing was amputated due to some unknown issue. We had them housed separately for a long time, and recently put them in their own double wide cage. They are not a bonded pair but seem to appreciate being roommates. Since most captive birds prefer to live in sight of other birds, this was a nice thing to do for them. They cannot be let out in the adoption center because of potential harm from larger birds. So we hope their new home will open the doors and give them a new lease on life! We don't need to touch birds to have a magical experience for them and us. Before we can discuss a specific bird with you, we ask that you follow our adoption process. Some birds are in foster homes that may adopt them, many other birds are waiting for our help and are not yet posted in PetFinders. The adoption coordinator in your area will work with you to find the best home for each bird, and a species and personality that works best for your family too.
