Crystal and RuRu

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hatch Date: 2020 Crystal is white, and RuRu is blue, both are female budgies. These little ladies are approximately 2 1/2 years old. These stunning girls came into Rescue separately. But as natural flock animals, it didn't take them long to find each other, and now, they're inseparable BFFs! They are still timid birds, but if you're looking to expand your flock, or would enjoy watching their adorable antics, look no further! Neither is fond of being handled, but this doesn't mean things wouldn't change for a patient adopter. RuRu and Crystal are very smart and have years to learn things and gain trust. The girls enjoy sitting on top of their cage together and flying to their other high-up perches. Wherever one goes, the other will follow. They are not destructive in the slightest and just enjoy sitting in each other's company. RuRu is not a fan of being in her cage, so at times, it can be a bit of a process that requires some patience to get her back in, but at night, she and Crystal always go in willingly to bed. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Each came in on a seed diet, but both are adjusting to a pellet diet incredibly easily. Crystal and RuRu have been disease tested for Chlamydia and PBFD. They are being fostered in Audubon, NJ, and will only be adopted by someone that is willing to drive to do the required visit. We will NOT ship our birds. For the Love of Birds is a network of dedicated foster homes throughout NJ and Eastern PA We do not have a central location. Our birds are living in Private homes, and we only allow approved applicants to meet our birds.
