Baby Cakes

Meet Baby Cakes! She is looking for her forever home. She has been in our care since summer of 2022 and has made such progress. I had received a surrender request from an elderly woman whose son had passed away, leaving her to care for Baby Cakes. Due to the overwhelming number of pigs in shelters needing placement we generally don’t take owner surrenders, but there are just some you cannot turn away. Baby Cakes was living in the bathroom and hadn’t been outside in over a year. Her main diet consisted of dog food. The caretaker was doing the best she could with Baby Cakes after her son passed but was not equipped to give her what she needed. Baby Cakes arrived slightly underweight and was in need of proper nutrition. She has had no issues switching from dog chow to pig food. I am happy to report that she is slowly gaining weight and filling out beautifully! Baby Cakes has had her feet trimmed and has been spayed. She is all ready for a new home! Baby Cakes doesn’t look like your average pot bellied pig. Her looks are interesting to say the least.
